Burj Khalifa, located in the United Arab Emirates, is a Dubai property that used to be called Burj Dubai before its grand opening in early 2010 at a wonderful ceremony attended by Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the leader of Dubai. The ceremony included fireworks and an amazing light show that people watched from all across the globe. At that time, the luxury tower's name was changed to Burj Khalifa for Sheikh Khalifa bin Al Nahyan, the President of U.A.E.

The Dubai property tower was first started in September of 2004 by Emaar Properties. The construction took more than six years because of how large and tall this Dubai real estate was. The Burj Khalifa Dubai was an investment of about $1.5 billion in total to build.

When Burj Khalifa was completed, it became the tallest man-made structure in the world, standing at 2,717 feet. This information was not released until the tower's opening ceremony took place. It used to be that the Taipei 101 and Petronas Twin Towers were known as the tallest structures in the world and were also located in the U.A.E.

The different floors in the tower include the basement parking garage, the Armani Hotel, the Armani Residences, the Armani Suites, the Sky Lobby, the Residential Floors, the Commercial Floors, and the Corporate Suites. At the top of the tower is a restaurant called Atmosphere. The observatory, the mechanical floors, communication floors, and 160 floors of residence and 46 maintenance levels are located in the tower's spire. There is a total of more than 464,000 square meter of space.

Anyone wanting to buy a residence in the Burj Khalifa can find studio apartments for sale as well as one-bedroom up to four-bedroom apartments, and penthouses. There are office spaces and commercial spaces too. The building houses a four-story fitness and recreation facility that has all the most modern equipment, as well as Jacuzzis on two different levels.

There is also "The Park", which covers 11 hectares and has many water features. The tower also boasts of 3,000 underground parking spaces, which is plenty enough for residents and visitors to the tower. The other facilities located in the Burj Khalifa tower include a library for residents,  a gourmet grocery store, and a convenience store.
